On the morning of July 14, a signing ceremony for a cooperation framework agreement was held between Jimei University and the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, Italy. Attendees included Professor Curuccio Catrina, Vice President of the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, along with heads from the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange and the School of Fine Arts and Design of JMU.
During the ceremony, the head of the department of International Cooperation and Exchange introduced the University’s history and international cooperation programs, expressing hope to deepen collaboration in talent exchange, joint training, and academic cooperation. The dean of the School of Fine Arts and Design shared the history of art education at Jimei University and the school’s academic strengths, while highlighting the desire to further promote talent cultivation, academic development, and international exchange. Professor Catrina introduced the history and disciplinary structure of the Bologna Academy of Fine Arts and suggested potential areas of cooperation, expressing hope to begin substantive projects soon.
Both sides exchanged views on specific cooperation initiatives and formally signed the cooperation framework agreement.
