On November 13, Clarivate Analytics released the latest ESI data. Jimei University’s Environmental Science/Ecology discipline has entered the top 1% globally in ESI for the first time, becoming the fifth discipline to achieve this ranking, following Plant and Animal Sciences, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, and Chemistry.

According to this update, the citation threshold for entering the top 1% globally in Environmental Science/Ecology was 5,337 citations. Our university published 380 high-impact papers in this field, achieving a total of 5,435 citations with an average of 14.3 citations per paper. Notably, three papers were selected as Highly Cited Papers, demonstrating the discipline's strong international academic influence.
