On the morning of July 7, Nguyen Xuan Hoan, President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT), led a delegation to visit Jimei University. Vice President Wang Jian met with the guests, together with leaders from the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Maritime Culture and Law, and the Overseas Education College.
Vice President Wang presented the University’s educational features and overall development, noting that 2025 marks the “China–Vietnam Year of People-to-People Exchange.” He expressed hope that this opportunity would further strengthen cooperation between the two universities and establish long-term collaboration mechanisms. President Nguyen Xuan Hoan praised Jimei University’s achievements in teaching and research and looked forward to expanding cooperation.
The two sides held in-depth discussions on joint training programs, faculty and student exchanges, establishing an HSK test center, and student recruitment, reaching a consensus on future collaboration.
It’s reported that HUIT, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, is a public university specializing in industrial, trade, and economic management disciplines.
