On the afternoon of January 10, JMU signed a cooperation agreement with Lodz Technical University of Poland online. Both parties reached an important cooperation intention in terms of school running, teacher and student exchanges, scientific research and other aspects.

After introducing JMU’s school running, President Xie Chaotian noted that Jimei University has been committed to constructing a first-class university with the characteristics of “engineering integrated with marine science”. He was also looking forward to sharing educational resources, and deepening exchanges and cooperation for both parties.

Full of confidence in the substantive exchanges and cooperation between the two universities, Krzysztof Jóźwik, Rector of Lodz Technical University of Poland, warmly welcomed JMU’s teachers and students to Poland for exchanges.

Also present at the meeting were Vice Rector, Łukasz Albrecht, Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering,Tomasz Kubiak and Director of the International Cooperation Centre, Dorota Piotrowska, as well as JMU’s Head of the College of Marine Equipment and Mechanical Engineering and the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges.
