On February 21, both the unveiling ceremony of the Scientific Research Collaboration and Innovation Base set up by Fujian Provincial Educational Science Planning Office and Provincial Education Science Research Institute in the University and the seminar of Fujian Provincial Educational Science Planning Project were held at Teachers College. Wu Minghong, Director of the Provincial Institute of Educational Science, Zhong Jianlin, Executive Editor-in-Chief of Education Review, Cao Minjie, Vice President of the University, the persons in charge of Academic Affairs Department and Teachers College, key teachers of the college and some graduate students attended the ceremony.
After expressing sincere thanks to the Provincial Education Science Planning Office and the Provincial Textbook Institute for their trust and support, Cao Minjie introduced the characteristics as well as the advantages of Teachers College in the field of educational research, in the hope that the Scientific Research Collaboration and Innovation Base will provide a new platform for the cooperation among the Provincial Planning Office, the Provincial Textbook Institute and Teachers College.
Wu Minghong introduced the objectives, significance and development of the Collaborative Innovation Base, expecting that a research community among research institutions, universities and front schools of basic education will be established to strengthen collaborative innovation, and advance the high-quality basic education in Fujian.
Cao Minjie and Wu Minghong inaugurated the Scientific Research Collaboration and Innovation Base together.
After the ceremony, Wu Minghong, Zhong Jianlin and some key teachers and postgraduates from Teachers College held a seminar on the selection, application and drafting of educational science planning projects.
